To accomplish this, FCT relies primarily on training with your own body weight. However, through the Cross Element, weights such as kettlebells, dumbbells or medicine balls and other equipment such as expander bands or TRX are also used to train inter- and intramuscular coordination.

The body becomes stronger, more agile / flexible, resistant and enduring.

What does "functional" mean?

Functional means "fulfilling a function" and in a training context refers to the performance of the musculature and the central nervous system.

In principle, all people have exactly the same requirements - whether they are professional athletes or amateur athletes:

A healthy and powerful body that can adequately handle all movement demands that arise. Only the extent of the physiological demands differs.

In FCT, several muscle groups are always stressed at the same time. One of the main targets is core training. The trunk muscles, which are responsible for the spine, pelvis and posture.
Multi-dimensional movements and different directions of movement are used to address all body axes -levels.

All 5 basic sports motor skills: Strength, endurance, speed, agility and coordination are integrated. Of course, the individual circumstances / performance level of the athlete are taken into account.

The use of free weights, unstable elements, small equipment and the own body weight mainly makes up FCT.

I offer FCT for groups from 6 to max. 14 participants.
